I’m excited to share some of my favorite images from Janelle and Spencer’s wedding day! Special thanks goes out to the talented Whitney Buckner who assisted as my second shooter. Many of her beautiful photographs are included in this post.

This was the first wedding I’ve documented at Alpine Park and Gardens. The ceremony site and reception pavillion are nestled amongst the trees and gardens that define this rustic outdoor venue. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed, the food was plentiful and delicious, the music and dancing kept the celebration going well into the evening — and to top it off, the reception included a surprise fireworks display!

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work with couples like Janelle and Spencer. They are such sweet people, so easy-going and fun-loving. It was no surprise to see them surrounded by such a large and supportive group of family and friends. It is so special to be witness to that kind of love and friendship. Janelle and Spencer, I wish you countless days of happiness together! Congratulations!

Natalia and David exchanged vows on a cloudy Sunday morning in the middle of June on the blufftop at Les Bourgeois Vineyards, surrounded by an intimate gathering of close family and friends. Afterward, they enjoyed a casual and relaxing brunch reception which allowed for plenty of time to visit with those who came to witness their coming together as husband and wife. Thankfully we were able to avoid the rain that almost turned their outdoor ceremony into an indoor one. Only once did we have to dodge raindrops when we were in the vineyard for a quick portrait session. Natalia and David, I admired the simplicity of your wedding and your desire to focus on the most important aspect of your day, your commitment to one another. I am so thankful you asked me to document your wedding and I wish you many years of blissful marriage!
